1800 28 26 22 Renowned vending machine manufacturer Qingdao Easy Touch and Alipay- Chinese third party payment processor, have jointly developed ‘audio vending machine’. Alipay spokesperson Wang Yuming said that the audio payment vending machines are equipped with Alipay audio modules which enable them to record and process payment using audio payment codes via user handsets.
The audio payments codes do not contain user account information, as they relate to a specific transaction only. These codes are effective only for five minutes, hence this technology is quite safe from users point of view. Excited about audio payment vending machines, Alipay plans to integrate the technology into more lifestyle products.
